Equine embryo transfer is a reproductive technique in which an embryo from a valuable donor mare is flushed out and transplanted into a recipient mare. It offers the chance to get offspring of:
• Mares that are performing (on a high level) in the sport
• Mares that are not (any longer) able to produce foals themselves
• Mares of which it is valuable to have several offspring in one season
The recipient mare has a crucial role in this process. At Care4Mare we make sure that we have good, fertile recipients available and in combination with the excellent breeding management of Dier-N-artsen, nothing is left to chance.
